Measures against the COVID-19 after March 13
Starting March 13, wearing face masks becomes a domain of personal choice in Japan. We will make some changes to our measures against the COVID-19 in the museum as below. However, we have to request your cooperation in events that require close distance or consideration for performers, such as workshops and folktale-telling events. We appreciate your understanding.- The staff at the ticket office and museum shop wear masks as usual.
- The museum staff, security guards, cleaning staff, and volunteers do not wear masks. But they wear masks when talking to visitors.
- Please wear a mask when participate in events such as indigo-dyeing workshops, crafting workshops or lectures.
- Please wear a mask when you are in the venue for a folktale-telling event.
Further changes will be noticed on this website.
