Constructions in the Museum (undated on September 17)

Several sites are under construction this year. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

1　Earthquake Resistant Construction (~ until September 2024)
Earthquake Resistant Construction of the Sakuda House (An important cultural property of Japan).
During the long-term construction, the Sakuda House cannot be visited. There are panels explaining the construction.

3　Roof Re-thatching (~ until the end of January 2024)
Roof re-thatching of the Ito House (An important cultural property of Japan) and the Kokagesan Shrine (An important cultural property of Kawasaki City).
The construction can be seen from the path.
