Ningyo Joruri (Traditional Japanese Puppet Theater)
Ningyo Joruri, the traditional Japanese puppet theater will be performed at the Kudo House, a folk house designated as an important cultural property of Japan.
The program for this year is Ichinotani Futaba Gunki “Kumagai Jinya” (The Chronicle of the Battle of Ichinotani “Kumagai’s Camp”), presented by Sagami puppet theater Shimonaka-za, which is a troupe designated as an important intangible folk cultural property of Japan.
It is a precious chance to catch the lively expressions of the traditional Japanese puppet.

- Price of the ticket: Regular ticket – 1,000 yen; Ticket for students or younger children – 500 yen. (Admission fee for Minkaen is waived)
- Sales of the ticket: In front of the Front Gate of Minkaen from 11:00 on the day (No reservation/Max 4 tickets for 1 person/No discounts/Cash only)
- Capacity: First come first served to 50 persons for each performance
